Château de Chassagne is close to Moulins, the capital of the Allier department. On the RN7 Route National turn right at the Route de Bagneux/D133 (signs for Bagneux/Montilly/Saint-Menoux/Bourbon-l'Archambault).

• Continue on the D133
• Turn left at Le Port
• Turn left at D101
• Go over the first roundabout
• Turn left to continue on the D101
• Continue in the direction of L'Etrangle-Loup
• Turn right in the direction of La République
• Turn left in the direction of La République
• Continue straight on to La République
• Continue in the direction of Le Chalet
• Turn right at Montégut and follow the D945
• After about 500 metres, take the road that leaves the D945 at a right angle.
• Then follow the road that is flanked on both sides by oak and chestnut trees. You will soon see the castle on your right-hand side.
